Well is just me or do you feel like there is something else in this world, life, schedule and even city that you lived in!
Right now, as you can see in the title I am finally free ! In the case, you are wondering I was a full IB student during high school and I am always busy working, studying, and preparing for college during summer time! This summer 2019/2020 is my first summer that I can invest in myself and learn about how to be “productive & independent”.
Meanwhile I am doing this I felt bored all the time as I could not find a job just for summer time, I DO NOT have a car to visit new places, and I prefer just to watch Netflix all day…
As I continue to do this trends… I felt insecure, I compare myself to all my friends that are in Europe, Latin America, and even other states in the US. I though that I DO NOT deserve all the things that they have because perhaps I was not good enough, or because of my family circumstances.
But as I reflect more about my situation I just realized that is our own duty to make each day the most fun and wonderful of all our life. To look at life differently and to make the decision to take an adventure whenever we can… I know that this is super easy to say but difficult to implement.
Just try! Try to go outside and enjoy the environment, take a cup of coffee with a friend, hangout with your family at the park near you, be yourself in every circumstance, take pictures, videos and lastly smile whenever you can 🙂 As you do this believe you will enjoy more not only your summer but you entirely life!
